Lahaina: Choice Health Bar (westside favorite)

Voted best Vegetarian and Healthy Choices in 2012, 2013, and 2014, Choice Health Bar is the trendiest way get in your superfoods after a long day of surfing along the Lahaina coast. Set in a quaint, living-room style shop, Choice has all you need from their honey-drenched acai bowls, raw entrees, to personalized juice cleanses. (Plus, their brand new dinner sushi bar!)

Wailuku: The Farmacy (conveniently located)

Centrally located, The Farmacy is the best quick stop to your all-vegan lunch hour, sprinkled with some friendly aloha! What used to be a rundown shoe shop is now a bustling restaurant that started with one man making a menu with his mother in mind. From their Wai Side acai bowl served with poi from Waikapu, $8 all-alkaline smoothies, and Farmacy Club Sandwich, they have nailed what it means to be a genuine “local spot”.

Kihei: Hawaiian Moons Natural Food (local)

Hawaiian Moons is a south side favorite for those health nuts on-the-go and headed for the beach! They top their service off with having a variety of groceries from organic eggs, soap, coffee, vitamins, herbs, and gluten/wheat free items. With their famous all-day salad bar and organic groceries, Hawaiian Moons has been serving an abundance of locals and their keiki since 1994, giving them their ono’ healthy fix for the day. Paia: Maka By Mana (freshest)

Maka By Mana is an elegant all-vegan restaurant created by it’s sister grocery store, Mana Foods, located right down the street in the original surfer’s town, Paia. If you are looking to try out the vegan lifestyle, Maka By Mana, is the best place to get a feel for a huge delicious and comforting menu.
