From a young age, she also felt a strong connection to the Hawaiian Islands, dreaming of one day living among their natural beauty and rich culture. Her professional aspirations led her to Portland, Oregon where she met her husband, who was raised on Maui. After spending extensive time on the Island and experiencing the lifestyle, she felt at home. Within a few years, they left the Pacific Northwest to build a life on Maui, where they now enjoy raising their young son.
