When meeting every client, Jim Wrzesinski embodies the Island Sotheby’s adage that luxury is
much more than just the price point of a home — it’s a level of service.
Before moving to Maui two decades ago, Jim spent years surrounded by vineyards in the
California Bay Area, where he fell in love with wine. His passion soon evolved into journey that
would lead him through decades of study and eventually to the luxury resort industry on Maui.
As a Realtor today, Jim brings a wealth of experience as a seasoned professional in high-end
markets, priding himself on his strength in cultivating relationships and guiding clients to the
best that Maui has to offer. Whether he is helping a family find their first home in Makawao or
searching for an oceanfront condominium in Wailea for an international investor, Jim
understands the economic factors driving Maui real estate and can navigate his clients through
the island’s numerous micro-markets. His impeccable record of closing successful transactions is
a testament to his focus on learning the unique needs and interests of each buyer and seller.
Jim has also made it his mission to further his education as a Realtor. Not only is he a graduate
of the Realtor® Institute (GRI), which provides agents with in-depth knowledge of industry laws
and procedures, but he also earned the National Association of Realtor’s e-PRO® certification
— an intensive training designed for mastering digital marketing and data security methods that
safeguard clients’ information.
Those who know Jim describe him as someone who works tirelessly for his clients. And when
you choose Jim, you actually end up working with a team: His business partner and fellow
Realtor®, Scott Wrzesinski, is always there to ensure that every phone call or text is immediately
returned, every question answered and transaction expertly managed.
Jim enjoys nothing more than helping his clients to make this magical island their home. When
he isn’t working, you can find him and Scott hiking through the forests of Polipoli, chasing
waterfalls in Hana, volunteering at Maui's homeless shelter or caring for their labrador retrievers.
On the weekends, he’s often entertaining guests with food and wine pairings; he loves nothing
more than pouring a glass of “lovely” for friends. When asked about wine, he paused: “Wine is
personal,” he replied. “When a good wine expresses itself on your palate, it will provide you
with a journey of both sophistication — and a refined version of hedonistic heaven.”
