Marty Guerriero is a longtime Maui resident specializing in South Maui Real Estate. Regardless of the type of real estate you are looking for, Marty can help you find exactly what you want. Marty is consistently described by clients as hard-working, knowledgeable, and patient. It is those characteristics that keep clients coming back and referring Marty to their friends and associates.
At a young age Marty became intrigued with design and architecture. This led him to pursue a degree in Architectural Interior Design from San Jose State University. This background in Interior Design has proven to be very beneficial to many of Marty’s clients. Having an eye for potential in properties is helpful in both purchasing and selling. It is often those small changes that can have a big impact on the bottom line. Marty definitely has a knack for spotting opportunities to enhance a property’s value or give you an edge at the negotiation table. Either way, having this level of experience with design, is helpful on both sides. Marty will work hard to get you the best deal possible.
Marty grew up in a small farming community in the Central Valley of California. Marty’s grandfather, and father were walnut farmers. Growing up on a walnut farm made for an enchanting and carefree childhood. During Marty’s teenage years and into his young adult life he worked for the local drug store. It was during those years that Marty learned the skill of public relations, a skill that has spilled over into every area of his life since.
As Marty got a bit older he became curious about the outside world, and at the young age of 22 he set off for Europe with nothing more than a map and his backpack. That trip was just the beginning, and Marty has long since had an ongoing passion for travel. It was during those early years of travel that Marty found himself on Maui. The beauty of the island and the carefree lifestyle drew him in, but it was really the people and the Hawaiian spirit of “ohana” that convinced him to make Maui his forever home.
Marty moved to Maui in 2003, giving him the opportunity to build an extensive network and form close relationships with local businesses and people. His knowledge of Maui and all that is has to offer is second to none. If you’re looking for a realtor that will invest their time in getting to know you then Marty is your guy. In his off-time Marty can be found traveling, hiking, boating, spending time with family and friends, or curled up on a quiet beach with his latest Sudoku puzzle.
