What led you to where you are today?

KY: Becoming a realtor was the next step in fulfilling a bigger dream that nurtures the balance of sustainable living and housing in a post-industrial modern world. I’m passionate about educating and sharing the ways in which people can create an eco-luxury living and amplify their quality of life with simple, natural, and sophisticated design that enhances daily life and community connections. What's your favorite part about living on Maui?

KY: To witness how strong the Hawaiian culture is here. People speak of pono (right living), ohana (family), and kuleana (responsibility). These practices are what make a community thrive. People see me for my spirit, not just for my appearance, and that makes me feel like I can thrive and be in optimal health. In Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage, our Kumu talks about the wisdom of the bones and being in alignment with it to be in optimal health.

What's one thing you've always wanted to do on Maui but haven't yet?

KY: See a local reggae show. My partner is always sharing how good the local artists are!

What inspired you to work in Maui real estate and why ISIR?

KY: I moved from Kauai because I saw more opportunity here to be part of a larger community. Maui is continuously developing. It has the best of both worlds: rural and city. Being with a partner who was born and raised here has taught me so much about Hawaiian culture and the right living. Choosing ISIR felt right because the owners, brokers, and agents matched my level of enthusiasm for doing business. Even my realtor friends on Kauai had recommended it amongst other firms because of all the benefits and support that agents receive. I recall seeing Georgianna's warm and welcoming smile on our first video chat. Her level of excitement was even felt in our first email exchange! As a co-owner to the company, she shared how aloha, pono, and kuleana were part of the company’s values and I saw how she embodied quality relationship-building.

Where is one place on the island we can find you on the weekend or in your spare time?

KY: You’ll find me at Ho’omana Spa in Makawao learning about the ancient art of Lomi Lomi. It’s a holistic massage that incorporates herbs, chanting, and prayer to a session and focuses on aligning the spirit and the body.

What should clients know about you?

KY: That I love supporting clients in turning their dreams into an address! Learning about client needs, meeting them, and making sure they know everything about the home selling or buying process and having fun along the way!
