Having always been passionate about helping and serving others, Scott Carroll R(S) was eager to begin his career in real estate on Maui this year. His love for the rich and beautiful diversity on Maui astounds him every day and drives him to help people experience it for themselves.  Meet Scott below!

What led you to where you are today?

SC: I've been closely tied to the service industry my entire life and have had extensive experience working in the golf industry as a PGA head professional and general manager. Most recently, I've been fortunate to work as the Head Professional at the Troon managed Kapalua Plantation Course and as of June of 2015 have been the general manager of The King Kamehameha Golf Club. Troon, another highly reputable and great company, has given me the tools to grow and I've been mentored by many amazing professionals along the way. Recently, as our island went into lockdown, I was determined to be productive and find something complimentary to learn that would further enhance my career goals. A real estate class grabbed my attention and my interest gained momentum. I signed up and passed my state realtor's exam in mid-June and now look forward to helping people fulfill their real estate goals. I am very excited to share my knowledge of the island and lifestyle that Maui offers.

 What's your favorite part about living on Maui?

SC: Living on Maui is the best! I feel so very fortunate to live the island life and I truly appreciate the people and natural wonders of Hawaii. The tropical weather and symbiotic outdoor activities such as golf and surf work well together and I try and take full advantage when time allows. Hawaii is also an ideal home base for traveling the world and is a cultural melting pot that provides a unique perspective and salt of the earth relationships of which I find refreshing.

 What's one thing you've always wanted to do on Maui but haven't yet?

SC: Living here for twenty years has afforded me numerous opportunities to experience the Maui lifestyle. With that being said, one thing I've always wanted to do more of is hike and camp upcountry and along the beaches and trails of east Maui near Hana. I look forward to raising my daughters here and giving them the opportunities to learn more about Maui and create a tight bond with the island.

 What inspired you to work in Maui real estate and why ISIR?

SC: The range of amazing Maui real estate opportunities has always intrigued me. I've lived here on Maui for about twenty years and through that time have experienced firsthand the happiness of homeownership on Maui. My daughters were born here and owning real estate on Maui has been gratifying and fulfilling. ISIR has a first-class reputation and aligns with the aloha spirit of high integrity interactions all while providing quality service and value. Our broker in charge, Rob Shelton, is truly a great person whom I've known for years and his support and inspiration has been integral in allowing me the privilege of working with ISIR.

 Where is one place on the island we can find you on the weekend or in your spare time?

SC: I love surfing with my two young daughters and being a dad. Beyond that, I enjoy golfing with friends, exploring the island’s beaches and hikes, and spending time with quality people. West Maui specifically is a magical place and it doesn't take much effort to enjoy the surroundings and be content. Although I may be a bit biased, my two favorite places to golf are The King Kamehameha Golf Club and Kapalua's Plantation and Bay Courses.

 What should clients know about you?

SC: I truly love helping people and enjoy seeing others succeed. I recognize that all people and or clients have different wants and goals and I strive to really understand what is important to each and every one of them and look forward to helping them achieve full satisfaction. My tenure and experiences on Maui allow me to provide unique insight and I can deliver and follow up consistently and patiently.
