Island Sotheby's International Realty welcomes Sharron Lawton, a Maui resident for over 23 years! A native of the island nation of Barbados, Sharron holds island life near and dear to her heart. After earning a degree in Business Management and traveling to foreign places like Indonesia, South and Central America, and spending some time on islands throughout the Caribbean, Sharron brings her passion and trusted perspective of island life and real estate to the table. 

Sharron loves spending time with her ohana during her free time. You can find them outside, playing along the Maui shoreline, paddling, surfing, soaking up the sun, or even venturing along the many hikes Maui has to offer. 

As a seasoned hospitality professional, Sharron understands her clients and has a deep history and love for the island of Maui, its culture, and the people that make up our community. What's your favorite part about living on Maui and why?

SL: I love Maui for so many reasons, it's difficult to pick just one. I think I love the sense of peace and the Aloha I feel here. It's incredible to be part of such a community. Maui has embraced me, given me opportunities and success. My family and I are happy to be here.

What's one thing you've always wanted to do on Maui but haven't yet?

SL: Someday I hope to participate in the canoe race from Molokai to Oahu, it has been a dream of mine for many years. Also, I still have not snorkeled Honolua Bay!!!

What inspired you to work in Maui real estate and why ISIR? 

SL: I have always been interested in real estate. I chose Island Sotheby's International Realty based on their excellent reputation and the recommendations of close friends who are agents with ISIR . This company has an excellent reputation and I feel honored to be starting with the best.

Where is one place on the island we can find you on the weekend or in your spare time and why? 

SL: I love being outside, at the beach, hiking, looking for adventure. For my quiet time, a good book and a glass of wine are heavenly. However, given that I have two very active children, my weekends nowadays are spent cheering on my girls at tournaments, performances, and competitions. I thoroughly enjoy coming together with all the parents: networking, catching up on the week's events, and watching our children excel at their various talents.
