Maui Agents Make Nation's Best List

Island Sotheby’s International Realty agents Courtney M. Brown and Wendy R. Peterson have been named some of the most productive sales associates in the nation.

REAL Trends was sponsored by Zillow to create a list of “America’s Best Real Estate Agents,” which compared more than 12,600 agents throughout the nation. To qualify for the list, an agent was required to have closed more than 50 transactions or sold more than $20 million in real estate in 2016.  

According to the rankings, Peterson closed more than $22 million in real estate transactions in 2016, while Brown closed more than $20 million in sales. Both agents were also honored this year for being top agents in the state of Hawaii.

Courtney M. Brown closed more than $20 million in real estate transactions in 2016. 


Brown was born and raised on Maui, and  has been helping others buy and sell real estate for two decades. In the last 10 years, Brown has sold well over $250 million of real estate, and represented buyers and sellers of some of the finest resorts, golf courses, oceanfront properties on Maui.

Peterson specializes in residential, commercial and ranch properties in the Upcountry area. A sixth-generation Mauian, Peterson offers her clients a vast local knowledge of all regions on Maui and Lana’i. She was also Island Sotheby’s International Realty's most productive agent in 2016.

Wendy R. Peterson closed more than $22 million in real estate transactions in 2016.
