Island Sotheby’s International Realty agent Courtney Brown has assisted yet another buyer of a luxury condominium in Kapalua, marking her second major sale in Coconut Grove this year.
The spacious three-bedroom unit sold for $4.5 million - just months after Brown sold another Coconut Grove unit, which sold for $5 million. In the most recent transaction, Brown represented the buyers who selected the second floor residence for it's sweeping views of Kapalua Bay and the coastline.
“I am so happy to have been a part of fulfilling this family's long time dream of being at the Coconut Grove,” said Brown. “So many people feel a special connection to Kapalua, myself included.”
Born and raised on Maui, Brown has always marveled at West Maui’s beauty - specifically in the region around Coconut Grove.
“It's the place of my earliest childhood memories with my father, before the hotel was built,” said Brown, adding that for the longest time, she didn’t know exactly where her father took her as a child.
“Years later, we were walking by the Cliff House and my father said, ‘You probably don't remember this, but I took you here when you were three,’” said Brown. “And finally it all clicked into place.”
Although Brown has represented dozens of West Maui properties over the years, Brown said residences at Coconut Grove are particularly special for their incredible location on an iconic beach. The residential condominium that recently sold offered 2,638 square feet of exquisitely-detailed living space, which included three bathrooms, a powder room, study and separate laundry room.
The unit gazes out toward the ocean and Molokai, with the sandy crescent of Kapalua Bay the focal point of the view. Additionally, the home was equipped with travertine flooring, granite countertops and top-of-the-line appliances.
