The Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards are Hawaii's most prestigious music awards, regarded as Hawaii's version of the Grammy Awards. Among the many talented finalists of 2021, Nā Hōkū Hanohano awards were two of Maui's most beloved groups and singers.
First is Maoli, a Maui group credited with over 21 #1 Regional Island Reggae hits! Maoli is recognized as one of Hawaii's top recording artists after a fifteen-year career that has garnered national and international recognition. Glenn Awong, the group's leading vocalist, composer, and founder, has been recognized near and far for his talent.
