Realtor® (S)

Born and raised in Hawaii, Colleen understands the stories that inhabit every corner of Maui and how to best articulate the unique styles and charms of island homes. By listening to the needs of her clients, she assists buyers and sellers in discovering and appreciating a property's nuanced sense of place, connecting clients with homes that truly match their values. Colleen’s personal experience navigating local construction, building and zoning codes and historic preservation guidelines helps her equip both sellers and buyers with the information they need to ensure a smooth transaction.

Colleen grew up in Kailua, on the Windward coast of Oahu. Life at that time revolved around school, time spent at the beach, and daily drives to Waimanalo to care for her horses. Her familiarity with Maui began in childhood where she spent summers visiting family in Lahaina, her father’s home. After high school, motivated by her love of horses, Colleen moved to Billings, Montana. There she enrolled at Rocky Mountain College, in their Equine Science program, “It was one of the best times of my life. Needless to say, I realized I needed a more practical profession.” Colleen then switched majors and earned her Bachelors of Science in Sociology and Environmental Studies.

Prior to Real Estate, Colleen worked in Cultural Resource Management; archaeology, land management, consulting and planning. Experience in these fields has given Colleen a unique depth of knowledge when it comes to understanding Maui’s Real Estate. Additionally, she has worked in property management, managing long and short-term rentals since 2013. Colleen has a deep interest in all things historic; culture, arts, traditions, lands, and historic homes. Colleen lives in Kula with her husband and children, their dog Maka and cats Misty and Leo.

"Colleen was a really great realtor to work with for our first home purchase on Maui. She was extremely reliable, knowledgeable, and resourceful as we navigated trying to break into the market at an entry price point. In the case of our home, we had extra steps to navigate with a foreclosure, and Colleen was on it every step of the way. We really appreciate her and would highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy a home on Maui."
