Dan has over 37 years of sales, consulting and land management experience on the island of Maui. A graduate of the University of Southern California, he has broad expertise in all aspects of real estate, including residential, vacant land, and investment opportunities, serving as both a consultant and Realtor to a diverse clientele of individuals and real estate investment groups for over twenty years. Dan and his son Alex, who is also affiliated with Island Sotheby’s, have teamed together to offer full service attention to the needs of their clients.

Dan also has an extensive background in tropical agriculture as owner of Maui Orchards, Inc., the former chief operating officer of Hana Ranch, and as a former board member of Maui Cattle Company. Additionally, he has been an active volunteer in local non-profit organizations, including serving as a trustee for the Maui Coastal Land Trust (now the Hawaiian Islands Land Trust), the National Tropical Botanical Garden, the William Merwin Foundation, and Hana Maui Trust. His familiarity with conservation easements has provided the opportunity to work with land owners and local land trusts for the preservation of open space.

When time allows Dan takes advantage of the outdoor life offered on Maui, whether it is on the golf course or perhaps working at his most recent agricultural project, an organic mango orchard which he has helped design and develop.
