Deb moved to Maui in her teens and qualified for her Real Estate license in her 20s, providing her with invaluable experience through every kind of Real Estate market imaginable on Maui. She is an Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR), a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and a member of the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI). For excellence in Real Estate she was also awarded the Aloha Aina Realtors Choice Award and the highly coveted Realtor of the Year Award presented by the Realtors Association of Maui.
One of Deb's passions is to coordinate her fellow Maui Realtors in preparing and cooking meals at the Homeless Shelter in Wailuku, (Central Maui) once a month. Her group prides itself in going all-out to make really special dinners. She also likes to travel, hike, fish, snowboard and just stay home to cook and have friends over. Deb lives in Olinda with her husband Jeff in a house they built themselves in the cooler climate of Upcountry Maui, an area of the island where you can live on larger properties, enjoy a beautiful garden, grow your own food, and be close to great hiking trails. Deb values the ambience of Upcountry, which offers its own unique lifestyle – and views -- and she feels fortunate to have an office nearby, right in the center of Makawao Town, as well as offices in Kihei (South Maui), and Napili in West Maui, resources that allow her coverage of the whole island.
