Everyone knows that Maui is paradise - but the island is a special heaven for golfers.

With meticulously-designed course layouts, breathtaking ocean views and perfect whether, Maui is undeniably one of the most sought after paradises for golfers. Whether you’re a professional or just want to spend a day on the green, Maui offers several phenomenal courses in the island’s finest resort regions. These are a few of our favorites:

Plantation Course at Kapalua

This lot next to the famed Plantation Course could be yours.

Nothing beats playing where the PGA Tour pros play. Each year, the Plantation Course at Kapalua is home to the Tournament of Champions, which brings the world’s best golfers to the island of Maui. Besides having spectacular ocean views of Maui’s west coast, the Plantation Course offers elevation challenges and blind tee shots for thrilling challenge.

And if you want to live within minutes from the course - or even see it from your lanai - there are plenty of homes in Kapalua that allow you to live the ultimate Maui resort lifestyle. Take this undeveloped two acre lot, for example, which is one of the few remaining parcels fronting the famed course.

Wailea Golf Club

Enjoy not one, not two, but three fantastic courses in the heart of Wailea. The Wailea Golf Club is home to three 18-hole championship golf courses, which include the Gold Course, Emerald Course and Old Blue Course. With panoramic ocean views that sweep from Kaho’olawe to the West Maui Mountains, spending a day on the green is truly enjoying the best Maui has to offer.

Just minutes away, there’s world-class shopping, fine dining and luxury resorts ranging from the Andaz to the famed Grand Wailea. There are also a plethora of elite condominiums and luxury coastal homes nearby, including this beachfront home nestled above the coveted Mokapu Beach.

Kaanapali Royal Course

Opened in 1962, the Kaanapali Royal Course is one of only two courses that Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed in all of Hawaii. Golfers enjoy views of Molokai and Lanai from nearly every hole, including the course’s signature 5th that stretches toward Black Rock Beach.

For those who want to live just minutes from the course, there are premiere beachfront condominiums next to some of West Maui’s finest shopping, dining and resorts. There are also magnificent single-family homes, such as this four-bedroom estate in the historic Kaanapali Coffee Farms community.
