Autumn is a beautiful time to visit Maui, but there’s no doubt the island is lacking in some of the season’s conventional activities.
You won’t find red, orange or yellow trees to sweep up, or even really need to put on a sweater, for that matter. But there is one fall tradition that you’ll find on Maui that rivals anything on the mainland — the pumpkin patch at Kula Country Farms.
Nestled on the slopes of Haleakala, Kula Country Farms is a fourth generation farm that sells some of the island’s freshest produce — it’s best known for its strawberries, sweet Kula Onions, and sweet Kula corn. But during the fall, the farm is most famous for its pumpkin patch, which has become one of Maui’s most popular autumn activities.
