Three Island Sotheby’s International Realty agents have been ranked among the top producing in the state, according to REAL Trends, a national firm that publishes rankings from across the country.

REAL Trends recently released data exhibiting the highest producing firms and agents throughout the nation. The list shows that Island Sotheby’s International Realty agents were among the top agents in Hawai’i, selling millions of dollars in real estate.

Courtney Brown, R(S), who specializes in the resort areas of West Maui, ranked in at No. 10 with $42,159,588 in sales. From luxury resorts to oceanfront condominiums, Brown has represented the buyers and sellers of some of Maui’s finest properties over the last decade.

Maui real estate professionals may know this all too well: Inventory is still tight for the island’s homes and condominiums.

According to statistics recently released by Realtors Association of Maui, inventory decreased nearly 16 percent for single-family homes and 33 percent for condominiums compared to last year. The analysis also found that new listings decreased 28 percent for single-family homes and 32 percent for condos.

“Housing markets across the nation are most assuredly active this summer, and buyer competition is manifesting itself into several quick sales above asking price,” the report said.

For the second year in a row, two Island Sotheby’s International Realty agents have made it onto Hawaii Business magazine's list of the top 100 real estate agents in the Aloha State.

For more than a decade, Hawaii Business magazine has been creating a list of the state’s most successful agents and companies, which has become the pinnacle of success for Hawaii's real estate professionals. The list named Island Sotheby’s International Realty as the ninth-top company in the state, which closed $340,481,875 in real estate transactions in 2017.
